Adorable 12 1/2" Antique German Kestner 143 Character Doll

The 143 mold of Kestner is so desirable and one can truly see why! That precious little character face! This one is a wonderful example. She measures approximately 12 1/2" tall, perfect for your cabinet. Bisque head is without damage, including hairlines or restoration. Her blown glass sleep eyes retain most of the original eyelid wax. Finely painted eyelashes surround her eye cuts. Open mouth with two upper teeth. Nice facial coloring. Wonderful feathered eyebrows. She has her original plaster pate and mohair wig. Pate has never been removed ~ it will be up to buyer whether they want me to remove to stuff the head or if I should stabilize the eyes by applying tape or binding over them.

She is on her original Kestner marked composition and wood body. Some finish wear, that "washed" look. Slight repair done at the neckline. I did not remove her shoes as they are sewn on. She is dressed adorable in an antique white dress, pink crochet sweater and appropriate underclothing.

She would be perfect under your Christmas tree!
